Product Detail

Epiphone's long - standing partnership with Mr. Les Paul started in 1940. Back then, Les crafted one of the world's first solid - body electric guitars at the original Epiphone factory in Manhattan. His first solid - body guitar, the 'Log', inspired the Les Paul Standard, widely regarded as the greatest electric guitar ever. Epiphone's new Inspired by Gibson Collection's Les Paul Standard 60s models bring back the iconic sound of 1960s Les Pauls. It features a classic Mahogany body topped with a Maple cap, Grover® tuners, and is powered by ProBucker™ humbuckers with CTS electronics. Specifications include a beautiful Bourbon Burst finish, an AA Flame Maple top, cream binding, a Slim Taper™ 60s C Mahogany neck, a 1.693' (43mm) nut width, an Indian Laurel fingerboard, a 24.75' (628.65mm) scale length, 22 frets, a Graph Tech® nut, Pearloid Trapezoid inlays, a LockTone™ ABR Tune - o - matic bridge, a Stopbar tailpiece, gold insert knobs with nickel - plated dial pointers, Grover® Rotomatic 18:1 tuners, nickel plating, ProBucker - 2™ neck pickup, ProBucker - 3™ bridge pickup, and 2 - Volume, 2 - Tone CTS electronics. PLU: EILS6BBNH.

Using your Epiphone Les Paul 60's Standard Electric Guitar is a breeze. First, tune it up using the Grover® Rotomatic 18:1 tuners. These tuners are really precise, so you'll get the right pitch quickly. Plug it into an amplifier and start strumming! You can adjust the sound using the 2 - Volume and 2 - Tone CTS electronics. Turn up the volume for a louder sound and play with the tone controls to get different tones, like a warm or a bright sound. When it comes to care, keep it in a dry place. Don't let it sit in a very humid or very dry environment for too long as it can damage the wood. Wipe it down with a soft cloth after each use to keep it clean. If you're not going to use it for a while, loosen the strings a bit to relieve the tension on the neck. And every now and then, check the frets and the bridge for any signs of wear. Have fun playing your guitar!
