This collection pays tribute to the influential guitars Slash used throughout his career, inspiring guitar players worldwide. The Epiphone Slash Les Paul™ Standard is perfect for all stages and players of every level. It features a mahogany body, a maple cap with AAA flame maple veneer, a Graph Tech® nut, Epiphone LockTone™ Tune - O - Matic™ bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece. Slash's personal touches include a C - shape neck profile, Epiphone Custom ProBucker™ Alnico 2 pickups (replicas of Gibson’s Custom BurstBuckers™, exclusive to this model), color - coordinated hardware, CTS® potentiometers with Orange Drop® capacitors, Epiphone Strap Locks, and a custom hardshell case. Exclusive to this collection are Slash’s “Skully” signature drawing on the headstock back and his signature on the truss rod cover. It comes in a stunning Appetite Burst finish. Specifications: Body shape is Les Paul, made of mahogany with a carved hard maple cap and AAA flame maple veneer, 1 - ply cream binding on top and fretboard, and a gloss finish. Neck is mahogany, Slash Custom C - Shape, 24.75' scale length, Indian Laurel fingerboard with 12' radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, Graph Tech nut, 1.69' width, pearloid parallelogram inlays, glued - in set neck, and a 60s Kalamazoo headstock with Epiphone logo in mother of pearl, 'Les Paul Model' in gold silkscreen, and Slash 'Skully' Logo on the back. Hardware has a nickel finish, Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuning machines, dual - action truss rod, and various stylish components. Electronics include Custom ProBucker Alnico 2 pickups, 2 volume and 2 tone controls, a 3 - way toggle pickup selector, and a 1/4' output jack. Using Your Epiphone Slash Les Paul Guitar: First, take your guitar out of the custom hardshell case carefully. Make sure to hold it by the body and neck to avoid any accidental drops. Attach the strap using the Epiphone Strap Locks that come with the guitar. Plug your guitar into an amplifier using the 1/4' output jack. Use the 3 - way toggle pickup selector to choose between different pickup combinations for various sounds. Adjust the 2 volume and 2 tone controls to get your desired tone. You can experiment with different settings to create unique sounds for different music styles. Tuning: Use the Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuning machines to tune your guitar. You can use a tuning app on your phone or a physical tuner for accurate tuning. Remember, the scale length of this guitar is 24.75', so keep that in mind when tuning. Cleaning and Maintenance: After each use, wipe down the guitar with a soft, dry cloth to remove any fingerprints or dust. For the fretboard, use a fretboard cleaner occasionally to keep it in good condition. Don't use abrasive cleaners on the guitar's finish as it's a gloss finish and can be easily scratched. Store the guitar in the custom hardshell case when not in use to protect it from dust, humidity, and accidental knocks. Check the strings regularly. When the strings start to sound dull or lose their tone, it's time to replace them with new ones of the same gauge (.010, .013, .017, .026, .036, .046). Also, check the truss rod from time to time. If you notice any issues with the neck's straightness, you can adjust the truss rod using the appropriate tool, but if you're not sure, it's best to take it to a professional guitar technician.
