The bolt - on baked maple neck with graphite - reinforcement rods is resistant to temperature and humidity changes. A spoke wheel at the neck base allows for quick truss rod adjustments. The neck has a smooth oiled finish on the back and a 12” - 16” compound radius baked maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays for comfortable playability and speed. Dual EVH® Wolfgang humbucking pickups directly mounted to the body enhance vibration transfer, providing long - lasting sustain. Using your EVH Wolfgang WG Standard Quilted Maple Electric Guitar is a breeze. First, tune your guitar using the EVH - branded tuning machines. When playing, the 'comfort cut' forearm contour on the basswood body will make holding the guitar more comfortable. For truss rod adjustments, use the spoke wheel at the base of the neck if you notice any issues with the neck curvature. As for maintenance, keep your guitar in a stable environment to avoid extreme temperature and humidity changes that could affect the graphite - reinforced neck.
