The American Performer Stratocaster, born in Corona, California, offers the outstanding tone and feel of an authentic Fender, with new features that make it even more exciting to play. These pickups have flat - staggered pole pieces for more output and a shellac coating to control feedback while allowing the coil to 'breathe', creating dynamic sounds for any music. The Greasebucket™ tone circuitry and push - pull tone control add the neck pickup in any switch position, unlocking new useful tones. The 'Modern C' - shaped neck has a 9.5” - radius rosewood fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets, comfortable for all playing styles. Using your Fender American Performer Stratocaster is a breeze. First, plug it into your amplifier using a standard instrument cable. Adjust the volume and tone controls to get the sound you like. The 5 - position blade pickup switch lets you choose different combinations of pickups for various tones. When playing, the 22 jumbo frets make it easy to bend strings accurately. For the best results, use the provided Fender® USA 250L strings. As for maintenance, keep your guitar clean by wiping it down with a soft, dry cloth after each use.
