It comes with Fender Designed alnico single - coil pickups in a Tele bridge and Jazzmaster neck setup (SJ). The push/pull controls allow for series/parallel and phase switching in position 2. The guitar has a 3 - saddle string - through - body bridge, a Telecaster control plate, and a distinct headstock shape. The contoured offset body, pearloid block inlays, binding, and matching headstock show Jazzmaster influence. The slim “C” - shape neck with a gloss finish gives a smooth and confident feel. Using your Fender Paranormal Limited Edition Offset Telecaster SJ Electric Guitar is a breeze. First, tune your guitar using the vintage - style tuning machines. Make sure to check the string gauge, which is nickel - plated steel (.009-.042 Gauges). When you start playing, use the 3 - position blade switch to select different pickup combinations. In position 1, you get the bridge pickup, in position 2 you can use the push/pull controls on the volume and tone knobs to switch between series/parallel and in - phase/out - of - phase modes with both pickups, and in position 3, it's the neck pickup. For maintenance, keep your guitar clean. Use a soft cloth to wipe the body and neck after each use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity, as this can damage the wood and hardware. Check the truss rod regularly to ensure the neck is straight. If you need to adjust the truss rod, use a 4 mm hex key and make small adjustments. Remember to change your strings periodically for the best sound quality.
