The Celebrity Standard CS24-1 guitar features a classic mid-depth Lyrachord cutaway body. Its solid spruce top has quartersawn scalloped “X” bracing, a design we developed after extensive review of earlier Ovation bracing patterns. This new design combines the best of the past and is tuned for the present, offering natural tone, optimal response, and great power. The body and top together produce the classic Ovation sound, with full projection, clear notes, perfect balance, and rich tonal complexity. Using your Ovation CS24-1 guitar is easy. Just sit or stand comfortably, hold the guitar in your lap or against your body, and start strumming or picking the strings. You can connect it to an amplifier using the built - in electronics for an electric sound. When it comes to care, keep it in a dry place to prevent the wood from warping. Wipe the strings with a clean cloth after each use to remove sweat and dirt. For the body, use a soft, dry cloth to clean it. If you need to adjust the action or change the strings, it's best to take it to a professional guitar technician. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or humidity as it can damage the guitar's structure and affect its sound.
