D'Addario Reed Guards are a cool and practical way to protect your reeds. They're a budget - friendly and convenient storage option for students, educators, and artists. The soft elastomer cover gently but firmly holds all kinds of clarinet and saxophone reeds. Available in six colors: black, red, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Each guard can hold four reeds. Using your D'Addario Reed Guard is super easy. Just open the soft elastomer cover and place up to four reeds inside. You can choose the right size depending on your instrument - small for Bb clarinet, soprano, and alto saxophones, or large for bass clarinet, tenor, and baritone saxophones. When it comes to care, make sure your reeds are dry before putting them in the guard to prevent mold. You can wipe the inside of the guard with a soft, dry cloth every once in a while. Also, don't over - bend the elastomer cover when opening and closing it to keep it in good shape.
