D'Addario Reed Guards are a cool and practical choice to safeguard your reeds. Ideal for students, educators, and artists, they offer an easy - on - the - pocket storage option. The soft elastomer cover snugly holds various clarinet and saxophone reeds. Available in six vibrant colors: black, red, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Each guard can hold up to four reeds. Using your D'Addario Reed Guard is a breeze. Simply open the soft elastomer cover and place up to four reeds inside. Make sure the reeds fit well within the guard. When you're done playing, put the reeds back in right away to keep them safe. For best results, use the small size for Bb clarinets, soprano, and alto saxophones, and the large size for bass clarinets, tenor, and baritone saxophones. Always keep your reed guard clean. You can wipe it with a soft, dry cloth regularly. Avoid exposing it to extreme heat or cold as this can damage the elastomer cover and the reeds. If you notice any signs of wear and tear, it might be time to get a new one.
