It features three independent, 360 - degree rotating rubber pads that grip bass drum hoops of various diameters and thicknesses firmly from top and bottom, eliminating slippage. Paired with a new, textured rubber pad on the base plate, it's the best way to attach a pedal to a bass drum. To enhance the smoothness and feel, we added a Dual Bearing Spring Rocker, making the pedals quicker and more responsive. The dual - chain Accelerator drive system with eccentric motion shortens the stroke length, increasing velocity and sensitivity. The legendary 5000 Series still has aluminum hex shafts, pedal plates, linkages, the patented Delta Ball - Bearing Hinge, and the Two - Way Beater. The 5002 double pedals use our patented Single Post Casting design, allowing you to place the auxiliary pedal closer to the hi - hat pedal for faster and easier foot movement.
