Product Detail

Jackson's JS Series Concert Bass models offer amazing sound, stylish design, and great affordability. The 34-inch scale, four-string Concert Bass JS2 comes with a lightweight and resonant poplar body. Its bolt-on maple neck has graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint, and the 12 - 16-inch compound radius amaranth fingerboard features 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays. Dual Jackson high-output humbucking bass pickups produce a powerful low-end growl. The Jackson HiMass bridge provides stable performance, better sustain, and a bolder tone. This bass is available in Satin Black and Snow White with black hardware. It's a right-handed instrument made in CN. The neck has a Jackson pointed 4-in-line headstock, a satin finish, and a black plastic nut. The body is made of poplar with a satin finish. The hardware includes a Jackson HiMass bridge, black pickup covers, and Jackson sealed die-cast tuning machines. The electronics have two covered high-output humbucking pickups with volume controls for each and a tone control. It comes with a saddle height wrench and a truss rod wrench. The fret size is jumbo, and the scale length is 34 inches (86.36 cm).

Using this Jackson bass is easy. First, make sure your strings are properly tuned using the Jackson sealed die - cast tuning machines. You can adjust the volume of the neck and bridge pickups separately to get your desired sound, and use the tone control to shape the overall tone. When you're done playing, keep the bass in a cool and dry place to avoid damage to the wood. Clean the strings regularly with a soft cloth to maintain their sound and appearance. Check the saddle height and truss rod periodically, and use the provided wrenches for any necessary adjustments. Remember to handle the bass gently to prevent scratches and dents on the body and hardware.
