In 2012, Peavey upped the ante with the VYPYR VIP, the world's first Variable Instrument Performance amp, designed for electric, bass, and acoustic guitars. Now, Peavey continues its tradition of excellence with the VYPYR X modeling amplifier. This latest addition to the VYPYR series features updated styling, a top-notch cabinet design for great acoustic performance, and improved TransTube® technology. The VYPYR X comes with Peavey's exclusive TransTube® technology, offering true analog distortion that not only sounds amazing but also leaves the amplifier's processing power for effects. It can run up to 5 effects at once, making it stand out in a live performance. Thanks to its revolutionary cabinet design and advanced processing, you can switch between electric guitar, bass, or acoustic on the same amp. You can also make your electric guitar sound like an acoustic or bass. The WYSIWYG interface is another great feature, allowing you to quickly identify knob positions. Using the Peavey VYPYR-X1 is a breeze. First, connect your instrument (guitar, bass, or acoustic) to the variable instrument input. You can also plug in external audio sources using the 3.5mm aux in. If you want to play privately, use the headphone jack. To start using effects and presets, simply turn the knobs on the front of the amp. The WYSIWYG interface makes it easy to see what settings you're using. For the looper, you can use the optional Sanpera™ footswitch. When it comes to maintenance, keep the amp in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you notice any dust inside, use a soft brush to gently clean it. Also, make sure to turn off the amp when not in use to save power and prolong its lifespan. And if you want to change presets or effects, you can do it right from the amp without having to connect a computer.
