These Ernie Ball RPS Hybrid Slinky guitar strings feature a patented bronze - wire winding tightly wrapped around the ball - end lock twist of plain strings. This design significantly reduces string slippage and breakage at the ball end, where issues most commonly occur. The plain strings in RPS sets last longer and stay in tune better than conventional ones. The wound strings are the same as those used in SLINKY NICKEL WOUND.
