One great thing about Fender® instruments is that you can easily change their appearance. Replacing the pickguard is one of the simplest ways to do this. Fender offers a wide range of pickguards in various colors and materials, allowing you to personalize your favorite Fender instrument. These contemporary 8-hole mount pickguards come with neck pickup mounting holes. They fit American Series, Standard, Deluxe, Special, and Highway 1™ (USA) Road Worn®, Player, Blacktop, Standard, and Deluxe (Mexico), as well as Squier® Standard Series (2004 - current) models. Using this Fender pickguard is easy. First, make sure your instrument is turned off and unplugged. Then, carefully remove the old pickguard by unscrewing the screws. Take your new pickguard and align it with the holes on your instrument. Insert the screws and tighten them gently, but don't over - tighten as it may damage the pickguard or the instrument. When it comes to maintenance, use a soft, dry cloth to clean the pickguard regularly. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they can scratch or damage the surface. If the pickguard gets dirty, you can lightly dampen the cloth with a mild cleaner, but make sure to dry it thoroughly afterward. Keep your instrument and pickguard in a cool, dry place to prevent warping or damage.
