This Kluson® 6-in-line tuning machine set is a game-changer for guitarists. It features oval metal (butter bean-shaped) buttons and an improved 15:1 gear ratio, offering more stable and accurate tuning. The housing and button style match different production dates, and the black plating, which wasn't available until the mid-1990s, adds a modern touch. These heads come with the Kluson® SafeTi String Post. The set includes 6 bass side tuning machines, 8.8mm O.D. vintage bushings with 1/4 inch I.D., and all the mounting screws for easy installation.
Using these Kluson guitar machine heads is easy. First, make sure you have all the parts in the set, including the 6 bass side tuning machines, bushings, and mounting screws. Install the bushings into the guitar body, then attach the tuning machines using the provided screws. When you're changing strings, use the SafeTi String Post to secure the strings. For stable tuning, turn the oval buttons slowly and evenly. As for maintenance, keep the heads clean by wiping them with a soft cloth regularly. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the black plating. If you notice any looseness or unusual noise, check the screws to make sure they're tightened properly.
