Using your Fender 70th Anniversary Player Stratocaster is a breeze. First, tune it up using the ClassicGear™ tuners. The 5 - position blade switch on the guitar allows you to select different pickup combinations. For a bright, cutting sound, use the bridge pickup (position 1). If you want a warmer tone, try the neck pickup (position 5). The master volume and two tone controls let you adjust the overall volume and the brightness of the sound. When playing, hold the guitar comfortably and use your fingers or a pick to pluck the strings. The 2 - point tremolo bridge gives you the ability to add vibrato to your playing. Be gentle with the tremolo arm to avoid over - adjusting and losing tuning. As for maintenance, keep your guitar in a dry and cool place. Wipe the strings with a clean cloth after each use to remove dirt and sweat. You can also use a guitar polish to clean the body and keep it looking shiny. Every few months, check the truss rod adjustment. If you notice the neck is too straight or too curved, you can make a small adjustment using a 3/16' hex wrench.
