The 5 - position blade switch on the electronics allows you to choose different pickup combinations. For example, position 1 gives you the bridge pickup sound, while position 5 offers the neck pickup sound. The S - 1™ switches on the master volume and tone controls add extra tonal variations. When it comes to playing, the 10' - 14' compound - radius fingerboard and 22 medium - jumbo frets make it easy to move your fingers across the neck. Just place your fingers on the frets and strum or pick the strings. As for maintenance, keep your guitar in the provided Black Tweed hardshell case when not in use to protect it from dust and damage. Wipe the body with a soft, dry cloth after each use to keep the Amethyst finish looking great. Check the tuning machines regularly to make sure they are working properly. And don't forget to change the strings periodically for the best sound. Be careful when using the tremolo arm, as excessive use can affect the tuning.
