Its neck is crafted for fast and smooth playability. The Modern “C”-profile has a silky satin urethane finish on the back, and the 9.5”-radius fingerboard (either slab rosewood or maple) has smooth rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. You can choose from alder, chambered ash or chambered mahogany bodies in classic Fender finishes or unique colors from the archives. The Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil Strat® pickups and Alnico II humbucker provide clear highs, rich mids and tight lows for any genre. The 5-way blade switch allows you to dial in a wide range of tones, from delicate neck pickup chimes to powerful bridge pickup roars. A 2-point tremolo and ClassicGear™ tuners ensure stable tuning for endless sonic exploration. Using the Fender Player II HSS Stratocaster is a breeze. First, tune your guitar using the ClassicGear™ tuning machines. You can choose different tones by using the 5 - way blade switch. For a bright and punchy sound, try the bridge pickup (Position 1). For a warmer tone, go for the neck pickup (Position 5). When playing, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt on the fretboard. After each use, wipe down the guitar with a soft cloth to keep it clean. Store the guitar in a cool, dry place. If you're going to travel with it, use a proper guitar case to protect it from damage. Also, check the tuning regularly, especially if the temperature or humidity changes a lot. And when you need to change the strings, use Fender® USA 250L Nickel Plated Steel strings of the correct gauge (.009 - .042).
