Key features include a chambered mahogany body with a maple top, which creates a rich mid - range, accentuates lows and highs, and gives great resonance and attack. The thin “U” mahogany neck has a 12” radius laurel fingerboard for a warm tone and smooth feel. The FT - 5E Filter’Tron pickups provide classic chime with enhanced presence, clarity, and note definition, suitable for various styles. Using this Gretsch guitar is a breeze. First, make sure the strings are properly tuned using the die - cast sealed tuning machines. You can adjust the volume and tone using the master volume, master tone, and individual pickup volume controls. The three - position pickup selector switch allows you to choose between different pickup combinations for various sounds. When playing, the thin “U” shaped neck offers a great feel, and the 12” radius fingerboard gives a smooth playing experience. As for maintenance, keep the guitar in a dry place to prevent the wood from warping. Clean the strings regularly with a soft cloth to keep them in good condition. Wipe down the body and hardware to maintain their shine. If you're not using the Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, be gentle with it to avoid damage. Also, check the bridge and nut periodically to ensure they're in place and functioning well.
