Using your Kala UBASS - NOMAD - FS U - Bass Nomad is easy. First, tune it up using the custom black die - cast tuners. The Aquila Thunderblack® strings are great for a rich sound. When you're playing, place your fingers on the frets gently for clear notes. For learning, start with simple chords and progress gradually. When gigging, make sure to adjust the U•bass® Active Eq electronics to get the best sound for the venue. As for maintenance, keep it in the padded gig bag when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches. Wipe the strings with a clean cloth after each use to prevent corrosion. Check the tuning pegs regularly to ensure they're tight. If you're not going to use it for a long time, loosen the strings a bit to relieve the tension on the neck.
