Using your Scout U•BASS® is easy. First, take it out of the padded gig bag carefully. Tune it using the custom black die - cast tuners until it reaches the right pitch. When you play, press the strings gently on the rosewood fingerboard to create different notes. The U•bass® Active Eq electronics can help you adjust the sound to your liking. For maintenance, keep it in a dry and cool place. Wipe the body with a soft cloth after each use to remove any fingerprints or dust. Check the strings regularly and replace them when they start to lose their tone. When transporting, always put it back in the gig bag to protect it from scratches and bumps.
