The Fender Player Plus Jazz Bass® is a powerhouse instrument. It's equipped with Player Plus Noiseless™ Jazz Bass pickups that give you the clear, growly Fender® bass tone you love. With a 3 - band active EQ and a toggle for active or passive mode, you have ultimate control over your sound. The neck has a silky satin finish, 12” radius fingerboard with rolled edges, and a modern “C” shape, making it sleek and fast to play. The HiMass™ bridge ensures great sustain, resonance, and perfect intonation. This bass comes in a classic 3 - Color Sunburst finish and has all the advanced features you need to spark your creativity and stand out. General details: Color is 3 - Color Sunburst, made in MX, right - hand orientation, from the Player Plus series. Neck features a Pau Ferro fingerboard, 12' radius, 4 - Bolt construction, satin urethane finish, maple material, modern 'C' shape, 20 frets, synthetic bone nut, and white pearloid dot inlays. The body is Alder with a gloss polyester finish and Jazz Bass® shape. Hardware includes a Fender HiMass™ bridge, vintage - style black plastic control knobs, nickel/chrome finish, 4 - Bolt neck plate, 3 - Ply Mint Green pickguard, black pickup covers, vintage - style strap buttons, Fender® USA 7250M strings, and standard open - gear tuning machines. Using your Fender Player Plus Jazz Bass is easy. First, plug it into your amplifier using a standard instrument cable. You can use the master volume control to adjust the overall sound level. The pan pot allows you to choose between the bridge and middle pickups or a combination of both. The 3 - band active EQ gives you the ability to boost or cut the treble, midrange, and bass frequencies. You can switch between active and passive mode with the mini - toggle to change the tone character. When it comes to note - playing, the smooth neck makes it a breeze to move your fingers up and down the fretboard. For maintenance, keep your bass clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe off dust and fingerprints after each use. If the strings start to sound dull or lose their tone, it's time to replace them. You can use the included Fender® USA 7250M strings or other compatible ones. Store your bass in the deluxe gig bag when not in use to protect it from scratches and dust. Make sure to keep it in a stable environment with moderate temperature and humidity to prevent damage to the wood and electronics.
