Using your Ibanez SR1305SB - MGL electric bass is a breeze. First, make sure it's properly tuned to the factory settings of 1G, 2D, 3A, 4E, 5B. You can adjust the string spacing on the MR5S bridge to fit your playing style. Use the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3 - band EQ to shape your tone. If you want a simpler sound, just activate the EQ bypass switch.
When it comes to maintenance, keep your bass clean. Wipe it down after each use with a soft cloth to remove sweat and dirt. Check the frets regularly for any signs of wear. If you notice the strings aren't sounding as good as before, it's time to replace them with D'Addario® EXL165 +.130 strings.
Also, store your bass in a cool and dry place. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or in a very humid environment, as this can damage the wood and the hardware. And don't forget to use the included gig bag to protect it when you're on the go.
