Product Detail

The all-new JS Series Spectra Bass JS2 combines a versatile style with a powerful sound. Its brand-new offset body style, crafted from poplar with a large upper horn, evenly distributes weight for perfect balance and hours of comfortable playing. The bolt-on maple neck with a scarf joint offers rock-solid reliability, and the 12' radius laurel fingerboard with 24 frets allows for lightning-fast play. This bass provides a unique sound suitable for funk, hard rock, or gospel. The Jackson J-style bridge pickup and P-style neck pickup deliver a range of punchy growls or clear tones, while the hardtail bridge enhances stability, sustain, and timbre. You can refine the tone using the blend, bass boost, and volume controls, with a push/pull selector to bypass or engage the active circuit for the bass boost. This way, you never have to worry about battery failure. The 4-string Spectra Bass JS2 is highly affordable and comes in various eye-catching finishes like Gloss Black, Metallic Blue, Snow White, or Tobacco Burst, all with black hardware and a unique 2x2 headstock featuring an understated J logo. Features include a 34” scale length, poplar body, bolt-on maple neck, 12” radius laurel fingerboard, Jackson pickups, Jackson hardtail bridge, sealed die-cast tuners, and more. It's a right-hand instrument with a Snow White finish, made in ID.

Using your Jackson JS2 Spectra Electric Bass Guitar is a breeze. First, tune it up using the Jackson sealed die - cast tuners. When you're ready to play, the easy - to - reach controls on the bass let you adjust the sound. Use the volume control to set the overall loudness. The blend control helps you mix the sounds from the bridge and neck pickups. And the bass boost control can give your sound an extra punch when you need it. If the battery for the active circuit runs out, just pull the volume knob to bypass the active circuit and keep playing. When it comes to maintenance, keep your bass clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it down after each use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can damage the wood and electronics. Check the strings regularly and replace them when they start to sound dull or feel worn. You can also adjust the truss rod at the nut if you notice any issues with the neck's curvature. With proper care, your Jackson bass will serve you well for years.
