Product Detail

The all-new Jackson JS Series Spectra Bass JS2P combines versatile style with amazing sound. The unique offset body, crafted from poplar with a poplar burl top and a large upper horn, distributes weight evenly for perfect balance and hours of comfortable playing. The bolt-on maple neck with a scarf joint is super reliable, and its speed neck contour, 12'-radius laurel fingerboard, and 24 jumbo frets make playing lightning fast. This bass offers a unique sound for any genre, from funk to hard rock. The Jackson J-style bridge pickup and P-style neck pickup deliver a range of punchy growls or clear tones, while the hardtail bridge provides better stability, sustain, and a bolder timbre. You can easily adjust the tone with blend, bass boost, and volume controls. The push/pull selector lets you bypass the active circuit, so you never have to worry about a dead battery. This 4-string bass is very affordable and comes in a sleek Blue Burst finish with black hardware and a unique 2x2 black headstock with a subtle J logo. Features include a 34” scale length, a poplar body with a poplar burl top, a bolt-on maple neck with a scarf joint, a 12” radius laurel fingerboard with 24 frets and white dot inlays, Jackson pickups, and more. It's a right-hand bass made in ID.

Using Your Jackson JS2P IV Spectra Bass Guitar: First, make sure your bass is properly tuned using the Jackson sealed die - cast tuners. Adjust the tone to your liking with the volume, blend, and bass boost controls. If the battery runs out, just pull the volume knob to bypass the active circuit and keep playing. When you're done playing, always put your bass in a case to protect it from damage. Maintenance Tips: Wipe down the strings after each use to prevent corrosion. Use a soft cloth to clean the body and fingerboard. Check the truss rod periodically to ensure the neck is in good shape. If you're not sure about any adjustments, it's best to take it to a professional guitar technician. Also, keep the bass away from extreme temperatures and humidity to avoid warping or other damage.
