Jackson's JS Series Concert™ Bass models offer amazing sound, stylish looks, and great affordability. The five-string Concert Bass JS3VQ has a 35”-scale design. It features a lightweight and resonant poplar body with a beautiful quilt maple top. The fully bound bolt-on maple neck has graphite reinforcement and a scarf joint, and the 12”-16” compound radius amaranth fingerboard comes with 24 jumbo frets and classic sharkfin inlays. Two Jackson high-output humbucking bass pickups create a powerful low-end growl, and the HiMass™ bridge gives rock-solid stability. The JS3VQ also has an active 3-band EQ and two volume control knobs to fine-tune the tone. Using the Jackson JS Series JS3VQ bass guitar is easy. First, make sure it's tuned properly. You can use a standard tuner to set the strings to the right pitch. To play, place your fingers on the frets and pluck the strings with your other hand. You can adjust the tone using the volume control knobs and the active 3 - band EQ. Turn up the bass for a deeper sound, the middle for a more balanced tone, and the treble for a brighter sound. When not in use, store your bass in a guitar case to protect it from dust and damage. Keep it away from extreme temperatures and humidity as these can affect the wood and the electronics. Regularly clean the strings with a soft cloth to keep them sounding good. You can also wipe down the body and the neck to maintain its appearance. Check the truss rod periodically to make sure the neck is in good shape. If you notice any issues, it's best to take it to a professional guitar technician.
