Product Detail

The Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX IV is a game-changer for adventurous bass players. With a modern look, flexible tone, and great value, it offers a bold bass experience. The offset Spectra Bass body, made of poplar, has a larger upper horn for perfect balance and comfort. The graphite-reinforced through-body maple neck with scarf joint provides excellent sustain and playability, featuring a 12'-16' compound radius laurel fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets. Dual passive medium-output humbucking pickups deliver punchy and powerful sound with clear note articulation. The bass comes with a two-way toggle switch for coil splitting, 3-band active EQ, blend control, and a volume control with push/pull selector to switch between active and passive modes. This eliminates the risk of losing sound due to a dead battery. The HiMass™ hardtail bridge enhances sustain and attack. It has a unique 2x2 black headstock with a subtle 'J' logo and is available in stage-ready finishes like Neon Orange or Satin Graphite with black hardware. Features include a 34”-scale length, poplar body, graphite-reinforced neck, and more.

Using your Jackson X Series Spectra SBX IV bass guitar is a breeze. When you start playing, you can adjust the volume, blend, and EQ controls to get the sound you want. Use the two - way toggle switch to split the pickup coils for different tones. If the battery runs out, just pull the volume knob to bypass the active circuit and keep playing. When it comes to maintenance, keep your bass clean by wiping it down with a soft cloth after each use. Check the strings regularly for wear and replace them when they start to sound dull. Also, make sure to adjust the truss rod if the neck starts to bow. Store your bass in a case when not in use to protect it from damage. And don't forget to tune your bass before each playing session for the best sound.
