A conventional humbucker senses strings at two places, cancelling some frequencies along with the hum. Our Humbucker From Hell® cancels fewer frequencies, delivering a brighter, cleaner, almost glassy sound. It's like a Strat® pickup but with PAF® power. Created mainly as a neck pickup, it'll transform the neck position sound of a Les Paul®. On a bolt - on guitar, it has an almost acoustic quality in the neck spot. Try it in the bridge position with a bright amp (but wear earplugs first!). Recommended for the neck position in solid body guitars. It's the cure for muddy - sounding humbuckers. With different guitar/amp combos, it can sound almost acoustic or very Strat® - like. Besides cancelling 60 - cycle hum, it hardly sounds like a standard humbucker. PLU: DP156BK

How to use: Install this pickup in the neck position of your solid body guitar for the best results. You can also try it in the bridge position, but be aware it can be very loud. Note: When using it in the bridge with a bright amp, make sure to wear earplugs to protect your ears. Maintenance: Keep it clean by gently wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity, as this can affect its performance.
