Using these Fender strap locks is easy. First, if you have the chrome kit, take out the two buttons and use the mounting screws to attach them to your guitar. Then, put the felt washers on to prevent any scratches. Next, connect the strap locks to the buttons and then attach your guitar strap. For the gold kit, just connect the locks to your existing buttons. When using your guitar, make sure the locks are firmly attached so your instrument doesn't fall. To maintain these strap locks, clean them gently with a soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the finish. Keep them in a dry place when not in use.
