Using your Fender Player II Stratocaster is a breeze. First, make sure it's in tune using the ClassicGear™ tuning machines. You can use the 5-way blade switch to select different pickup combinations and get the tone you want. Turn the master volume knob to adjust the overall volume, and use the tone knobs to tweak the sound of the neck/middle pickups and the bridge pickup. When playing, the smooth fingerboard and well - shaped neck make it easy to move your fingers around the frets.
For maintenance, keep your guitar in a dry and clean environment. After playing, wipe down the strings with a soft cloth to remove sweat and dirt. This will help keep the strings sounding good for longer. Check the tuning regularly, especially if you use the tremolo arm a lot. If you notice the action (the height of the strings above the fretboard) getting too high or low, you can adjust the truss rod using a 3/16' hex key, but be careful as incorrect adjustment can damage the neck.
When not in use, store your guitar in a proper guitar case. This will protect it from bumps, scratches, and changes in temperature and humidity. And remember, always have fun playing your amazing Fender Player II Stratocaster!
