Using your Jackson Pro Series RRT - 3 Rhoads electric guitar is a breeze. First, make sure your guitar is properly tuned using the Jackson® sealed die - cast tuning machines. You can switch between different pickup sounds using the 3 - position toggle switch. For a brighter, more cutting sound, use the bridge pickup (Position 1). If you want a warmer, fuller tone, try the neck pickup (Position 3). For a combination of both, select Position 2. When it comes to maintenance, keep your guitar clean. Wipe it down after each use with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints and sweat. You can also use a guitar polish to keep the finish looking great. Store your guitar in a cool, dry place to prevent warping of the neck or damage to the body. And don't forget to change your strings regularly, about every few months depending on how often you play. The recommended string gauges are .009-.042 NPS. If you notice any issues with the frets, bridge, or electronics, it's best to take your guitar to a professional guitar technician for repairs.
