The POWERSONIC® Bass Drumheads are made of 2-ply 7 mil MYLAR®. They come with two specially placed internal subsonic dampening rings using ESDS technology - an External Snap-on Dampening System. These ¾” internal dampening rings improve the low end without using fixating trays or hard-backed dampening materials. The unique, patent-pending ESDS system has snaps directly on the drumhead to stop vibrations. You can easily adjust the muffling, feel, and sustain for different playing situations by snapping the weighted pillow to the drumhead. There's also the FALAM® SLAM for more attack and durability. Right out of the box, these drumheads give drummers controlled mid-range and low end for a powerful bass drum sound. It's a 22' diameter clear bass drumhead with a snap-on dampening system. Using your Remo Powersonic bass drum head is easy. First, install it on your 22 - inch bass drum. Make sure it's tightened evenly for the best sound. To adjust the sound according to your playing needs, use the snap - on dampening system. Simply snap the weighted pillow to the drumhead at different positions. This way, you can customize the muffling, feel, and sustain. When it comes to maintenance, keep the drumhead clean. Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity as this can damage the MYLAR material. Also, be careful when using the snaps. Don't force them too hard to prevent breakage.
