The all-new JS Series Spectra Bass JS2 combines a versatile style with an enormous sound. Its brand-new offset body, made of poplar with a large upper horn, evenly distributes weight for perfect balance and hours of comfortable playing. The bolt-on maple neck with a scarf joint design offers great sustain, and the speed neck contour and 12' radius laurel fingerboard with 24 frets ensure lightning-fast playability. The Spectra Bass JS2 delivers a unique sound, suitable for funk, hard rock, or gospel. The Jackson J-style bridge pickup and P-style neck pickup offer a range of punchy growls or clear tones, and the hardtail bridge provides stability, improved sustain, and a bolder timbre. You can refine the tone with blend, bass boost, and volume controls, and use the push/pull selector to bypass or engage the active circuit for the bass boost, so you never have to worry about battery power. This affordable 4-string bass comes in a stunning gloss black finish with black hardware and a unique 2x2 headstock with an understated J logo. Using the Jackson JS2 Spectra Bass is a breeze. Just plug it into your amplifier and start playing. Adjust the volume, blend, and bass boost controls to get the sound you want. If the battery runs out, simply pull the volume knob to bypass the active circuit and keep playing. When it comes to maintenance, keep your bass clean by wiping it down after each use. Use a soft cloth to avoid scratching the finish. Check the strings regularly and replace them when they start to wear out. Make sure to keep the tuning machines in good condition to keep your bass in tune. Also, adjust the truss rod if needed to keep the neck straight. And always store your bass in a proper case to protect it from damage.
