Product Detail

The Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX IV is a game-changer for adventurous bass players. With a modern look, versatile tone, and great value, it starts a bold bass journey. The offset Spectra Bass body, made of nyatoh, has a large upper horn for perfect balance and comfort. The graphite - reinforced through - body maple neck with a scarf joint offers excellent sustain. The 12'-16' compound radius laurel fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets ensure smooth playability. The dual passive medium - output humbucking pickups provide a punchy and powerful sound foundation. You get wide - ranging tonal control with a two - way toggle switch for coil splitting, 3 - band active EQ, blend control, and a volume control with a push/pull selector. This four - string bass also has a HiMass™ hardtail bridge for better sustain and attack. It comes in an eye - catching Matte Blue Frost finish, and has a unique 2x2 black headstock with a 'J' logo. Available in Gloss Black or Matte Army Drab too, it's a budget - friendly option for bassists of all levels.

Using your Jackson X - Series Spectra IV Bass Guitar is easy. First, make sure your strings are properly tuned using the Jackson sealed die - cast tuners. Plug your bass into an amplifier and start adjusting the volume, blend, and EQ controls to get your desired sound. The push/pull selector on the volume control gives you the option to switch between active and passive modes. When using the active mode, keep an eye on the battery level to avoid losing sound. If the battery dies, just pull the volume knob to bypass the active circuit. For cleaning, use a soft cloth to wipe the body and strings after each use. Avoid exposing the bass to extreme temperatures or humidity. Store it in a proper guitar case when not in use. Regularly check the truss rod adjustment to keep the neck in good shape and the frets for any signs of wear.
