Product Detail
The Electro - Harmonix Superego Plus builds on the success of the award - winning Superego. It's a game - changer for creating synth effects, sound layers, glissandos, and infinite sustain. The new addition of a complete effects section offers 11 different effect types, an EXP input for controlling effect parameters or recalling presets, and an EXT jack for a 3 - button controller.
This pedal comes with a range of effects like DETUNE for pitch detuning, warm analog DELAY, pristine digital ECHO, Electric Mistress style FLANGE, Small Stone style PHASE, pitch - based MOD, rotary speaker style ROTARY, sine and square wave tremolos (TREM 1 and TREM 2), pitch - shifting PITCH, and a resonant low - pass FILTER. You can control these effects with the EXP pedal.
It offers extensive sound - shaping control with knobs for Dry, Effect, Attack, Decay, Threshold, Layer, Gliss, Rate, and Depth. There are four foot - switchable Freeze modes (Moment, Sustain, Auto, and Latch) and a Live Effects mode that routes the dry signal through the built - in effects while disabling the internal synth engine.
The polyphonic Superego Plus works with guitars, bass, keyboards, vocals, drums, and more. It also comes with an EHX 9.6DC - 200 AC Adaptor.
Using the Electro - Harmonix Superego Plus is a breeze. First, connect your instrument to the pedal and the power supply. You can then start exploring the synth effects. Turn the knobs to adjust settings like Dry, Effect, Attack, Decay, Threshold, Layer, and Gliss. For the effects section, use the Rate and Depth knobs.
To control the effects parameters, plug in an EXP pedal to the EXP input. You can also use a 3 - button controller with the EXT jack.
When using the foot - switches, choose from the four Freeze modes (Moment, Sustain, Auto, and Latch) depending on your needs. In the Live Effects mode, the dry signal goes through the built - in effects and the synth engine is off.
As for maintenance, keep the pedal in a dry place and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. Clean it gently with a soft cloth. When not in use, unplug the power supply to save energy and protect the pedal.
